At present in the state of Gujarat, the benefit of the old pension scheme has been stopped for the primary teachers who have joined the job from 1/4/2004. Various agitating programs are underway by the All India Primary Teachers Union in this regard. In some states, state governments have started giving old teachers the benefit of the old pension scheme. So in some states there are judgments by the court regarding the old pension scheme. In our state also, in this matter, representations / application forms have been given to the Government by G.R.P. But no proper disposal has been made in this matter.
C.P.F. In case of retirement and bereavement of the teachers attached as primary teachers in the scheme, their family gets only a small amount so that the condition of the family becomes very pitiable. So give special priority to the above matter. Before 1/4/2005 and dt. After 1/4/2005, it is requested to send the statistical information of the teachers having C.P.F. account on the letter pad of your district union at G.R.
