AdvertisementMaranews Network, Gandhinagar: With the increase of two percent increase in the remaining DA from January, the state employees have been asked to announce an additional four per cent additional announcement. In this regard, Gujarat's Finance Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that Gujarat is the first beneficiary of the Seven Pay Commission employees across the country. The center will be announced at the appropriate time by the state government in its declared DA. The demand of Central employees' DA and central pensioners has been increased by two per cent yesterday by the employees of Gujarat.

With the increase of two percent in the DA of its employees by the Central Government, the Government increased the burden of Rs 6112.20 crore and Rs 4074.80 crore for the increase of Dair of pensioners. Now, central employees will get 9% DA in basic pay-pensions now, with a two percent increase in seven percent DA. Now this increase will benefit 48.41 lakh central employees and 62.03 lakh pensioners.

As per the recommendation of Seventh Pay Commission, the central government is increasing the DA-DR. In the year 2018, after the increase of 2% by the Central Government in January last year, the DA has been increased by 2% for the second time since July. When the state government employees in Gujarat are not yet given a two percent hike in the amount from January -2018. It is left to give four percent hike to the state's employees, which again give the center two percent increase from July.
